The Abu Simbel complex in Egypt is an archaeological wonder. Two temples, built by Ramses II, adorn the shore of Lake Nasser. They impress with their monumentality and their sculpted statues of pharaohs. These temples, with their history and art, are a lasting testament to the greatness of ancient Egypt.
